Partial Solar Eclipse Broadcast
Partial Solar Eclipse Broadcast
Broadcasting Partial Solar Eclipse, January 4th, 2011
Monday, 3 January 2011
This year is beginning with a big event, a Solar Eclipse. It will be a partial eclipse and will be visible from lahore, though a few percent of the sun disk will be covered by the passing moon.
I will be broadcasting the whole event from my observatory, if the fog and clouds would give way during the eclipse. It will be, once again, on the channel of Khwarzimi Science Society. I will be using Mallincam HyperPlus Colored Astronomical Video Camera and a Thousand Oaks Solar Filter. I may also use Solar Continuum Filter.
You can watch it on the “Night Skies Network” at “Khwarizmi Science Society” channel or at this page also. The following will be showing the Solar Eclipse and you can also join in the live chat.
